A question came up in my group recently (it comes up a lot, actually):
“Hi guys. How do you get new clients?”
It’s a great question, and one that seems to have countless answers. The truth is, many of these answers are valid – there are lots of ways to get new clients.
The real answer?
You need to do some work.
When you’re on Facebook, are you catching up on the latest political gossip, or are you interacting in groups of business owners?
At 5:30am, are you sleeping, or are you writing content that would appeal to a potential client?
In the evening, are you watching TV, or are you attending local business events?
Are you picking up the phone and calling businesses who you can help?
I’m not saying you need to be like Gary Vee…working constantly. In fact, I don’t think this is healthy at all.
But you do need to figure out what works for YOU.
Some people put out great written content. Some people are great at cold calling. Some people are great with face-to-face networking. Some people are great on social media.
These are just a few ways to get clients.

Naturally, you will find a few strategies that work best for you. Once you get it figured out, you can focus you time on what’s working. You’ll have more free time and more client.
